L'Ecole du Ski Français (the ESF) provides all of the technical support for Exercise Spartan Hike.  Their team of former professional racers set the courses daily and provide weather forecast information for the racers in the Division throughout the Exercise.  

A team of seasoned instructors is provided by the ESF who are dedicated throughout the exercise to ensuring the smooth running of the event.  

The ESF instructors work in conjunction with the Spartan Hike officials to run the Start Gate, the Finish Gate and the Timings booth.  This support ensures that the races are run to the correct standard and that they will be eligible for BASS point recommendation.

The two main ESF schools that the exercise collaborate with are the Villeneuve and Monetier Les Bains schools.  Their contact details are shown to the side.

The ESF is always on hand to provide help and advice throughout the competition.  They are also available for race training prior to the exercise on an individually funded team basis in the Serre Chevalier area.
